Description
The molecular size of hyaluronic acid determines the depth of its delivery into the skin. This formula combines low-, medium-, and high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, plus a next-generation hyaluronic acid crosspolymer at a combined concentration of 2% for multi-depth hydration in a water-based formula. This system is further enhanced by the addition of vitamin B5, which also enhances surface hydration.
Note: Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the skin, but its natural function within the skin is not to moisturize. Many products have used hyaluronic acid to claim hydrating benefits, but the hyaluronic acid molecule is too large to penetrate the skin. Instead, it sits on the surface and can draw moisture from the skin, temporarily leaving the surface feeling soft and hydrated, while leaving you feeling like you need more hyaluronic acid after rinsing off the product. This formula uses three forms of hyaluronic acid with different molecular weights, plus a hyaluronic acid crosspolymer, to provide multi-depth hydration and visible plumping without drawing water from the skin, just to temporarily improve surface hydration.
How to use:
Apply a few drops to face morning and evening before creams. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. A patch test is recommended before use. Refer to our in-depth patch testing guide. Keep out of reach of children.
